1. Booking & Payments

1.1 Reserving Your Date

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Your date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and a signed contract returned.

1.2 Payment Schedule

For weddings:

• 25% deposit at booking
• Remaining balance due 4 weeks before the wedding date

For portrait sessions:

• Full payment due at time of booking

1.3 Payment Methods

We accept bank transfer. Payment details will be provided on your invoice.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Client Cancellation

• More than 6 months before: Deposit retained, no additional fees
• 3-6 months before: 50% of total fee due
• Less than 3 months before: Full fee due

2.2 Date Changes

If you need to change your date, we will do our best to accommodate this at no additional cost, subject to availability. Please notify us as soon as possible.

2.3 Photographer Cancellation

In the unlikely event that I am unable to fulfil your booking due to illness or emergency, I will arrange a suitable replacement photographer of similar style and experience, or provide a full refund if no suitable replacement can be found.

3. On the Day

3.1 Cooperation

The quality of the final images depends on cooperation from the client and guests. I cannot be held responsible for compromised coverage due to circumstances beyond my control, including but not limited to: lateness, uncooperative guests, restrictions imposed by venues, or unforeseen events.

3.2 Venue Restrictions

Please inform me of any photography restrictions at your venue. Some venues restrict flash photography, drone use, or access to certain areas.

3.3 Timeline

I recommend building adequate time into your day for photographs. Rushed timelines may impact the quantity and quality of images.

4. Image Delivery

4.1 Turnaround Time

• Weddings: 6-8 weeks from your wedding date
• Portrait sessions: 2-3 weeks from your session

4.2 Delivery Method

Images are delivered via an online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photos. High-resolution files are available for download.

4.3 Number of Images

The estimated number of images in your package is a guide. The actual number will vary based on the length of coverage and nature of events.

5. Copyright & Usage

5.1 Copyright

All images remain the copyright of Pixie Jayne Photography. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the images for personal use.

5.2 Print Release

All packages include a print release allowing you to print images for personal use at any lab of your choosing.

5.3 Social Media & Portfolio Use

I reserve the right to use images from your session for marketing, social media, portfolio, and competition purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

5.4 Image Editing

All images are edited to my signature style. I do not provide raw, unedited files. Please do not apply additional filters to images shared online, as this misrepresents my work.

6. Albums & Prints

Album design proofs will be provided for approval before printing. Minor revisions are included; significant changes may incur additional charges.

7. Liability

7.1 Equipment Failure

I use professional equipment and carry backup gear. In the unlikely event of complete equipment failure resulting in loss of images, liability is limited to a refund of fees paid.

7.2 Image Backup

Images are backed up to multiple locations. I retain backups for a minimum of 12 months following delivery of your gallery.

8. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemic, or government restrictions.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
